Description: In this view can be seen in front of the terrace, to the left West Hill Lodge and Lady Gosford on the right Hampton Lodge, Sir Edward Codrington and Mr Fauntleroy. The scheme was designed to form part of the area, looking onto Oriental Gardens. Hampton Terrace was not built. West Hill Lodge was on the corner of Montpelier Terrace and Western Road and Hampton Place and Western Road, although no trace remains of either.
