Description: Chinese dragon paper puppet consisting of multi-coloured cardboard tail, a dragon's head with gaping mouth (which holds a large silver coloured ball) and a pink and yellow body. The body is made from honeycombed tissue paper and expands like a concertina. There are two bamboo sticks attached for holding the puppet.

This is a Chinese paper dragon puppet. In China, the dragon represents good luck, long life and wisdom. Dragon dances are performed at New Year to scare away evil spirits.
