Side panel of marquetry writing cabinet-on-stand. The cabinet is elaborately decorated with marquetry buildings probably derived from the perspective views engraved by Lorenz Stoer in Geometria et Perspectiva. The cabinet has a drop-down flap and was probably intended to house natural and artificial curiosities. Made in Augsburg, Germany. Part of the Percy Macquoid Collection
