Brighton Herald newspapers
We've recently released over 4000 digitised copies of the Brighton Herald newspaper on our Digital Media Bank.
The Herald was Brighton's oldest newspaper. First published in 1806, it ran as a weekly newspaper until 1971 when it was absorbed by the Brighton Gazette.
The collection we have just made available covers some of the earliest issues, with a complete run from the early 1830s until 1920. They are available to browse and download free of charge, and can be found here.
